Tanzania Camping Safari, Just a piece of cloth between you and the African night while listening to Africa’s nightlife. Sitting around the campfire at night with the southern skies bright over head is the real way of experiencing Africa’s magic.
Camping safaris offers you an adventures which bring you close to nature. It is fully serviced where the guides and support staff put up and strike the camp, and take care of every detail, so that you can simply relax and enjoy this adventurous safari.
Standard gears for Tanzania camping safaris are supplied on safaris, including 2 Pax tents, comfortable mattresses and camp chairs. Bathroom facilities are often shared but there is almost always hot water available! We use quality 4×4 land cruisers with pop up roof hatches, camping gears are carried by the additional car.
Itinerary Details
Day 1: Tarangire
Welcome to tanzania camping safaris. Pick up from your hotel within Arusha, departs for Tarangire National Park for Game Viewing and Photographing with the Picnic Lunch. Dinner and Overnight at Twiga Camp. (Full board)
Day 2: Lake Manyara
Breakfast at the Camp/Lodge, full day game drives in Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 3: Serengeti
After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park via Maasai Cultural Boma and Olduvai Gorge en-route Game viewing and Photographing with the Picnic Lunch. Dinner and Overnight at the Camp. (Full board)
Day 4: Full Day Game Drive and Photographing
After early morning breakfast departs for Full Day Game Drive and Photographing with the Picnic lunch. Dinner and Overnight at the Camp. (Full board)
Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Early breakfast and departs for morning game drive in Serengeti. Return to the Camp for hot lunch and late afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Area for Dinner and Overnight at Simba Camp Site. (Full board)
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast descends to the Crater for full day crater tour with packed lunch. Evening drive to Arusha for dinner and Overnight. (Half board)

Safari Pricing Terms
Price includes the following:
- Full board accommodation whilst on safari in the above mentioned en suite tented camps and lodges
- Private safari guide
- Extended Toyota Land Cruiser
- Private 4 x 4 safari jeep with pop up roof for game viewing
- Transfers in both directions between the International Airport
- Park fees
- Crater fees
- All meals while on safari
- Airport Arrival/Departure Meet and Greets at the airport
- On safari – Vehicles equipped with ice chest with mineral water, wildlife guidebooks
- Government taxes, VAT and service charges relating to accommodation and included meals
Price Excludes the following:
- Tanzania Visa: $50 per person on arrival, USA and CANADA passport holders USD.100
- Personal Expenses (e.g. laundry, telephone, beverages, etc.)
- Meals not listed above
- Optional Tours (balloon rides USD. 500 per person etc)
